Participation Account is a type of account opened with a minimum maturity of 1 month, that allows for the distribution of yield at the end of maturity within the scope of the profit-loss partnership.

  • Participation Account is a type of account that allows for the distribution of yield within the scope of the profit-loss partnership between the account holder and Emlak Katılım. The funds collected in Participation Accounts are used in the financing of trade, industry and service sectors in line with interest-free banking principles.
    • Accounts can be opened with a minimum monthly term in TL, USD and EUR.
    • Profit sharing ratios vary according to account types.

The Participation Account is based on sharing of the profit and loss from the projects financed by the bank. There is no predetermined and committed return.

Features of the Participation Accounts

  • Active Accounts with Interim Payments are not subject to this application.
  • Participation Account allows you to obtain returns in accordance with profit-loss partnership and interest-free banking principles. The savings you invest are used in the financing of areas such as trade and industry based on interest-free principles, and a certain percentage of the profit obtained is distributed to account holders. 
  • With a Participation Account, you can evaluate your investments in TL or foreign currency by choosing the most suitable rate and maturity.
  • You can open your Participation Account in TL, EUR, USD, XAU and XAG with maturities of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
  • Alternatively, a “Flexible Term Participation Account” can be opened, if desired. 
  • When you need, you can withdraw money from your Emlak Katılım Participation Account without breaking your maturity and receive your profit share at the end of the term over the remaining amount.
