Cheque Accident Insurance

This is an insurance policy that protects individuals who use checkbooks from financial hardship—either for themselves or their heirs—by paying off their check debts in the event of death or total and permanent disability resulting from an accident*.

All Chequebook holders between the ages of 18 and 65 are eligible to purchase a Cheque Accident Insurance policy.

Cheque debts ranging from 100,000 to 700,000 Turkish Lira are paid off according to the selected package.

In the event of the insured’s death during the policy term, this coverage guarantees the payment of cheque debts, subject to applicable laws and the terms of the contract.

• This coverage takes effect if the insured suffers a definitive, total, and permanent disability as a result of a work-related or non-work-related accident during the policy period.
• The indemnity calculated in accordance with the Special Conditions of the Individual Accident and Permanent Disability Rider is paid immediately to the beneficiaries, subject to compliance with applicable laws and the terms of the contract.
• The insurance coverage and benefits of the person for whom the total and permanent disability benefit has been paid shall terminate.
• A disability rate of at least 61% is considered total disability.
• Earthquakes, floods, volcanic eruptions, and landslides are covered under this policy.
