Current accounts can be opened in TRY, foreign currencies, or precious metals and can be used for all your banking transactions.
The portion of TRY, foreign currency, and precious metal-denominated participation accounts, based on their unit account values, and special current accounts up to TRY 1,200,000 (one million two hundred thousand Turkish Lira), held by natural persons and not used for commercial transactions other than solely for issuing cheques, is covered by the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund.
No account maintenance fee is charged on accounts you open.
