EmlakFX

What is EmlakFX?

EmlakFX is a platform where foreign exchange and precious metal trading can be conducted at advantageous rates.

The EmlakFX Platform operates integrated with your current accounts and limits. You can conduct your foreign exchange and precious metal transactions through the platform using your account balance. EmlakFX is a platform that caters to our clients who conduct intensive and high-volume foreign exchange and precious metals buying/selling transactions. The services offered through the platform are compatible with the principles of participation banking.

  • Customers expected to execute a monthly trading volume of 250 thousand USD worth of buy-sell transactions.
  • Customers who are legal entities and need to conduct purchase/sale transactions due to their business operations.
  • Customers who aim to conduct buying/selling transactions based on effective foreign currency (foreign currency in banknote form) and/or physical precious metals. (example: Currency exchange offices, Jewelers, Gold Refineries)
  • Customers aiming to conduct speculative transactions

Same-day settlement (intraday, t-0) transactions are processed.

In addition, forward transactions (futures trading transactions) with a value of 1 day (t+1) at all exchange rates and with a value of 2 days (t+2) at many exchange rates are also performed.

Forward transactions with maturities longer than 2 days are not currently offered. In the future, it is aimed to offer forward transactions first for up to 30 days, then for 90 days, and finally for up to 360 days.

As stated in the relevant contract signed with the customer, the transactions carried out cannot be canceled. It is also not possible to change the amount of the executed transactions, the transaction rate, or the maturity date.

Based on the terms of the EmlakFX Platform Agreement, a hand-signed instruction is not required.

Transactions can be made in the following currencies: TL, USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, JPY, AUD, CAD, NOK, SEK, DKK, RUB, SAR, KWD, AED and QAR.

Gold (XAU), Silver (XAG) and Platinum (XPT) precious metal transactions can be carried out with an ounce weight unit. All above-mentioned foreign exchange and precious metal transactions can be conducted in exchange for TL, USD, and EUR.

Our bank's customers must provide the following contracts and forms, signed by hand, for EmlakFX installation.

  • EmlakFX Platform Agreement-
  • EmlakFX Pre-Contract Information Form-
  • Declaration of Acceptance of the EmlakFX Platform Agreement
  • However, depending on the type of transaction (intraday, forward) and if the limit is applied, it is likely that the following contracts and forms will also need to be received with a wet signature.-
  • Customer Commitment Information Form Regarding Currency Reference Limits-
  • Futures Trading Framework Agreement-
  • Form for Using General Trading Conditions in the Futures Framework Agreement
  • Pre-Contract Information and Risk Disclosure Form for Derivatives (Futures) Transactions

During official working days in our country, transactions can be conducted between 09:30 and 23:59.

However, if it is a public holiday in the country of the currency at the exchange rate where the transaction will take place (for example, USA for USD/TL transaction), the transaction is not performed at this exchange rate.

It is aimed to extend the processing time in the future.

The balance equivalent to the Special Exchange Rate Reference Limit and/or the transaction amount of our customer who requests to perform intraday value transactions should be blocked in his account.

Our customers who request to perform forward-term (forward) transactions should have a Forward Limit or Forward Collateral.

The platform can be installed on all computers that are Windows-based and have a Java infrastructure. EmlakFX's mobile application for iOS and Android-based devices (phones, tablets, notebooks, etc.) is not currently available. Work on this issue is ongoing.

Transactions of at least 10,000 USD can be made through the platform.

The transaction amount is evaluated within the upper limit and/or account balance.

Test işlemlerinin yapılabileceği demo platformların müşterilere sunulması yada şube çalışanları özelinde kullanılması ile ilgili karar yetkisi şubenindir. Aynı anda tek cihaz ile giriş yapılabilen demo platformdaki kurlar gösterge kurlardır.

The platform is free; there are no periodic fees or commissions.
