Electronic Warehouse Receipt (ELÜS)

What Is an Electronic Warehouse Receipt (ELÜS)?

An Electronic Warehouse Receipt (ELÜS) is an electronic document representing goods held in licensed warehouses — a system created against agricultural goods delivered to licensed warehouses, certifying their quantity and quality. The goods are represented by an official electronic record of identical quantity, type, class and quality, and can be bought and sold electronically via Commodity Market Intermediaries (ÜPAK) contracted with our Bank.

Advantages of the Electronic Warehouse Receipt

The Electronic Product Sheet offers numerous advantages to producers and investors, which can be effective in both the short and long term. Some of the advantages brought by the ELÜS system are as follows:

Advantages for Producers:
Products can be offered for sale at an appropriate time without the pressure of having to sell immediately.
Real market prices are determined through product quality standardization and classification.
It provides secure storage opportunities, reducing waste/shrinkage (fire) and transportation costs.
It protects products against risks such as theft, fire, and many others.
ELÜS documents can be used as collateral, facilitating access to business financing.

Advantages for Investors:
It offers the opportunity to invest in agricultural products.
It enables investors to generate profit by capitalizing on price fluctuations.
It provides convenience in ELÜS trading transactions through an easy and reliable operational infrastructure.

The Importance of ELÜS as an Investment Instrument

As an investment instrument, the Electronic Product Sheet (ELÜS) offers many advantages for financial markets and investors, including Direct Access to Agricultural Products, Capitalizing on Price Fluctuations, Protection Against Inflation, and Utilization as Financial Collateral.
As an instrument based on agricultural products, ELÜS plays a critical role in both investment diversification and the development of the agricultural sector.
