KFK-Supported Financing
Katılım Finans Kefalet A.Ş. (KFK) was established on March 29, 2023, through a partnership between the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Turkish Association of Participation Banks (TKBB), and six participation banks, with the aim of providing access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the framework of participation finance principles and enabling these businesses to gain a competitive advantage in the sectors in which they operate.
KFK operates as a corporate guarantee institution, facilitating access to financing for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) and non-SME businesses that cannot meet their financing needs due to insufficient collateral.
KFK aims to contribute to strengthening the participation ecosystem by meeting the guarantee needs of the sector within its own structure.
Features of KFK-Supported Financing
SMEs, non-SME firms, tradesmen and artisans, women and young entrepreneurs, and agricultural businesses operating in accordance with participation principles can utilize financing through KFK guarantees.
KFK provides guarantees for all types of cash and non-cash financing in Turkish Lira or foreign currency that businesses need, provided they comply with participation banking principles.
KFK guarantees can also be used for investments that cannot be realized due to insufficient collateral, in addition to business financing.
Businesses that meet the guarantee conditions can quickly access funds through KFK guarantees within the limits defined for the bank.
Variables such as the maturity structure of the guarantee packages, the maximum usage limit, and the scope of use are managed within the framework of rules announced and periodically updated by KFK.
