Waste Management Financing

Waste management is an approach that encompasses all processes from the generation to the disposal of waste resulting from production. This process includes the collection, transportation, sorting, processing, recycling, and ultimately the disposal of waste.

The aim of waste management is to reduce environmental impacts, conserve natural resources, and ensure public health and safety.

Waste management activities include:

  • Designing new products with less material input,
  • Improving production equipment,
  • Washing machines that consume low chemical materials,
  • Reusing waste in the production process,
  • Collecting waste for recycling,
  • Using recycled materials,
  • Generating energy from waste and waste management in our daily lives.

Sectors with high waste rates include the Construction Sector, Food and Beverage Sector, Textile and Fashion Sector, Electronics and Electrical Equipment, Chemical and Petrochemical Sector, Metal and Mining Sector, Paper and Pulp Sector, and Plastics Production and Processing Sector. These sectors are striving to minimize their environmental impact by developing waste management and recycling strategies. Reducing, recycling, and reusing waste will help these sectors achieve their sustainability goals.

The aim of the Waste Management Financing product is to support businesses by providing financing for investments, machinery purchases, and processes aimed at reducing their carbon footprint.
